Give The Youth Of Sakartvelo Time

My name is Sophie Surguladze and this is my pilot project for creating a bigger foundation that will help other high school students like myself take initiative and help those in need around the world. My personal overall focus is fundraising for communities in the country of Georgia, specifically children, to have proper access to water, school, technology, resources, and the same social and educational opportunities that I get. As a Georgian-American myself, I get to experience both the loving society in Georgia while taking for granted all of the privileges and opportunities that come with living in America. Due to this, I believe that I have a responsibility to use this privilege for others who do not get to experience both worlds and those who can not speak up for themselves. 

This project is aimed to aid an orphanage in Kakheti, Georgia, whose kids have sent me a personalized letter of supplies that they lack, like light, kitchen appliances, and clothes, as well as items like dolls and earbuds. My goal is to raise $2,000 to allow me to buy and then send these items to the orphanage. Every donation, no matter the size, will help contribute to giving these kids a better quality life.
