We’re the Rose family. My name is Shauna (26), my husband is Shelden (27), and together we have three children, Barbara (5), Theodore (4), and our rainbow, Henreigh (2). We currently live in a homeless shelter in Midvale, Utah, and are actively trying to find a place of our own. My husband is working, but even with saving his checks, we still won’t be out of here for a few months. While this isn’t the worst place, it’s also not the best. The kids have been sick since the first day we got here, and we hardly eat because they don’t always offer hot meals (though they advertise that they do).
