Hi everyone! My name is Christina and I have lived in Los Angeles for over 13 years. Learning the news about families across California loosing their funding for CalFresh is heartbreaking. A small group of friends are coming together to help a few local families in need.

This Thanksgiving, many Los Angeles families are facing an unimaginable reality — losing access to SNAP benefits and struggling to put food on the table due to the ongoing government shutdown.

I’m raising funds to provide Thanksgiving meal kits to local families who’ve been affected. Each kit will include all the essentials for a full holiday meal — turkey, sides, and dessert — sourced from affordable stores like Target, Walmart, Aldi, or Costco.

Your donation will go directly toward purchasing and delivering these meal kits to families on the westside, ensuring they can gather, eat, and celebrate together despite these difficult times.
