Teddy is my dear friend. He is a Marine Corps veteran that fought in Vietnam most notably. Teddy is a resident of mine, and over the last few months, I have been doing everything in my power to help him live a happy life. He has been alone for the last 20+ years, and before I came into his life, he had no friends. Teddy struggles a lot financially, and while I am in the process of getting him help through the VA, it currently isn’t enough. Teddy also struggles with severe autism, which is a constant battle in tandem with his PTSD.

I am very happy to say that we reached our original goal of $2,500. I am so blessed that we were able to accomplish that. With the money, Teddy will be able to go on his first vacations in over 30 years. I was also able to get him his first ever mobile phone and a smart tv. We have been going and getting dinner weekly as well.

I want to continue raising money for Teddy so I can keep taking Teddy on outings and short trips throughout the year. I have seen a life in him that I’ve never seen before doing these things—I want to continue to raise money so I can do this for him for the rest of his life.
