Give our family some days out and memories!

Hello, my name is Chrystal and I am currently trying to raise some money for our family to have some well-deserved days out to have some positivity in our lives!

As a family unit, my sisters (Sapphire and Jasmin Frisby) cousins (Amber Nation, Courtney Nation, Tyler Nation), auntie (Joanne Nation) and my boyfriend (Shakeel Walker) will be doing a 'walk to Bournemouth' where we will complete a set amount of steps each day from 1st May 2023 to the 8th May 2023. In total, we will need to complete 448,820 steps. Between the 8 of us, we need to walk 28 miles each throughout the week, totalling 62,835 steps.

In October 2022, my little sister was sadly diagnosed with a type of bone cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. Since her diagnosis, we have spent next to no time together as a family unit, due to her chemotherapy schedule being every other week. This will continue for some time. Unfortunately, this has meant that we have spent key events apart, such as birthdays and mothers days and part of Christmas so we can ensure our sister receives the right care.

With treatment not being available at our local hospital, we are having to travel to and from Cambridge frequently to ensure she gets her treatment, which with the rise in prices for everything, has taken a toll on us.

We would like to be able to take our minds away from this illness for even a short period by experiencing some days out together again, a well-deserved treat for our sister who has also been fighting her cancer like a champion throughout this whole process.
