My name is Jacki Chrysler (maiden name is Locke). My ex husband Adam Chrysler and I are trying to raise funds for an adoption attorney to finally adopt this amazing little girl, Marie. She is currently 11 years old, and I've had custody and guardianship of her since she was about 1 and a half years old. She is biologically my niece - the daughter of my oldest brother. Her biological parents have had some issues with substance abuse, but are currently serving prison sentences for some very heartbreaking and disturbing crimes against her older sister.

My ex-husband and I love Marie like she is our own and have raised her as such. Despite our divorce, we have still given her the most normal life a divorced family can have, and she is equally loved by both of us. Our divorce has not changed our love for Marie or the want to adopt her and make her officially and legally our daughter. Unfortunately, private adoption, and a complicated case such as this one, is not a cheap process. We appreciate any support in this journey for Marie and our family. Thank you all!!
