Hey everyone, I’ve been taking care of this beautiful cat, that I’ve decided to name Maelle, for about 2 months now, since a resident at my apartment complex completely abandoned her after they moved out. She’s super friendly, naturally outgoing, and just a very trusting animal. I’d been slowly saving to get her checkup and shots to begin the adoption process since. A few days ago, on the day that I had scheduled to take her in i came home and saw that she had sustained some serious injuries. Her left arm is swollen, twisted at an odd angle, and under her mouth has a cut that’s scarred and festering. My parents suggested surrendering her over to the humane society, and Initially, begrudgingly, I agreed, but when I got home from work last night, she was sprawled out, in front of my door yelling and pleading, as I walked up the stairs. I opened the door and despite the injuries, she dashed inside. I’d like to adopt her, lord knows i do, but currently, I’m unable to afford the extended fees the vet said it would cost to get her fixed up. Any donation would be greatly appreciated, I have her a new appointment scheduled today, and all proceeds will go towards getting her injuries healed and the essentials for her at my home.
