Koriel’s Fight for Sight: Help Heal Her Vision
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Koriel, and I’m fundraising to save my vision.
On May 13, 2025, I underwent Corneal Cross-Linking (CXL) in my left eye due to advanced Keratoconus combined with acute corneal hydrops and scarring. While CXL is a major first step to stop the disease from progressing, the journey is far from over.
My left eye is severely damaged and continues to swell, causing extreme sensitivity, pain when opening my eye, and blurred or distorted vision. I now require frequent visits every 4–8 weeks to monitor the swelling and corneal condition. Because of permanent scarring and vision loss, my medical team has confirmed that a corneal transplant will ultimately be necessary to restore functionality in that eye.
This fundraiser will go directly toward:
• Ongoing specialist visits & medications
• Vision-saving surgery & transplant recovery
• Assistive tools to function with low vision
• Temporary support while I am unable to work normally
I’m a strong and determined woman, but this journey has tested every part of me. I’m reaching out for help so I can focus on healing instead of survival. Anything you give—whether financial, a share, or just encouragement—means more than words can express.
Thank you for helping me see my future clearly again.
