Give Jim and Jaye a Safe Place to Live

This is Jim and his wife Jaye. They live in Arcadia, Florida. A few days ago, they were served with an eviction notice and given 30 days to leave their home. They lease land in a mobile resort and own their home on the land. They were given no reasoning, and the courts essentially told them there was nothing they would be able to do. They have until June 30th to vacate and sign their home over to the owners of the park. In the state of Florida, there are no laws to protect him and his wife. They will essentially have to forfeit their home, which they own, and everything in it as there will be nowhere for them to go.

The larger part of this, and why I am creating this GoFundMe, is Jim is terminally ill. He has a kind of cancer called lymphoma in his throat and larynx. It is inoperable, and there is nothing they can do because his heart cannot handle it. He struggles to breathe daily and cannot work due to his condition. He does not know how much longer he will have to live, and he is now having to worry about if he will lose everything and what will happen to his animals.

We are trying to put some money together to get them a trailer or mobile home so they can at least have somewhere to go and can come be with family. Jim is a dying man, and the end of his days should be filled with love and spending time with his wife in the home they have built.

I ask you to please open your hearts and help Jim be safe and have a place to lay his head at night. No one should have to think about this with what he is facing. Jim is an amazing guy. Thank you so much in advance. It means the world to him already.
