Hey, the woman in the photo is my momma. Her name's Jeanie and she's had a rough way to go. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor a few years ago. Thankfully, it's benign, but it affects her balance, memory, and overall function. She can’t do a lot like she use to. Her husband of 30 years put her in the hospital with 6 broken ribs and a collapsed lung last year. She's been trying to work and make it on her own since but truthfully, after 30 years of having the support of a husband, she's struggling. She wrecked her car working the other day. It was a brand new Buick that her husband had gotten her before all this and was the only thing she had to call her own. It's totaled now. She had full coverage, but since she was working when it happened, the coverage is void, as it was for personal use only. She now has no car, no home to call hers, and now no job because her job was in transporting non-emergency medical patients to appointments, and she has lost hope. We have never been the type to ask for help from others who also work so hard to make a living, but I don't see another way. If you can find it in your heart to share this, please do. We just need to pay this car off, that will give her a leg up in the uncertainty and chaos. Even a dollar counts. Thank you.
