Hi, my name is Samantha Privett, and I’m sharing my story with you from the most vulnerable place in my life—because I need your help.

I’ve been diagnosed with end-stage liver disease caused by Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH). This condition has slowly taken away my health and energy, and now, after months of tests and fighting to stay strong, I’ve been told that I need a liver transplant to survive.

It’s hard to put into words how frightening this has been. I’m a mother, and my children are my world. Every day, I wake up hoping for more time with them—to see their smiles, to hold their hands, and to be present for the life we still have to live together.

Right now, I’m in the middle of the transplant evaluation process, and with that comes a tidal wave of costs—travel back and forth to my transplant center, temporary lodging, time away from work, medication, and follow-up care that will continue long after the surgery.

While I have insurance, it does not cover everything. The gaps are wide, and I cannot bridge them alone.
