NIc herę. Hi friends, family and any who finds this message. 2025 is such a beast. We have been so lucky to cross paths with this lovely family here in Ogden UT! They are the kindest humans. My son Caspian plays soccer with their 10 year old son Eddy (not pictured... because at 10 we feel he deserves some privacy). Eddy is a passionate footballer with a big heart. He has worked so hard to learn English and make friends since moving from Peru about a year ago! He is the first to help a kid up if they fall, the first to volunteer to pick up the equipment at the end of practice. His mom is often on the sidelines with the 2 most beautiful babies (pic!). They are great people who deserve a chance. The dad to this troupe was reported (falsely!!! He has a valid work visa!) as undocumented by a coworker and detained a few days ago. He was WORKING... to support his family... Legally. Please join us in helping with their legal fees. They deserve representation, they deserve dignity, they deserve a chance to have their story heard. There are so many things right now that make us all feel powerless, but we do have the ability to help this one family. Lets make an impact. Let's support Edith as she tries to get her husband, their breadwinner, back.
