These school holidays our family is volunteering in Cambodia staying at Aspire School and Homestay, a small but powerful community project founded by a remarkable man named Sean.
For over 20 years, Sean has dedicated his life to giving disadvantaged children and orphans in Siem Reap a safe place to live, learn, and dream. With no government funding, Aspire relies entirely on the generosity of kind hearted souls to survive.
Being here is very humbling and a reminder of how fortunate we are. These kids don’t have luxuries, no sophisticated technology, no fancy playgrounds…yet their warmth, love and energy are infectious.
✨ Your donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference—providing food, shelter, and education to children who otherwise have so little.
We are seeing firsthand the impact Aspire has, and we’re asking for your help to keep this incredible place alive for the kids who call it home.
We are all teaching English to these kids and there is no electricity in the classrooms making it feel like a sauna. There are so many basic items that the kids need which can be met at a cost equivalent to a cup of coffee a day:
All below is AUD. $1AUD=£0.50GBP
- Electricity for the classroom- $300
- School uniforms - $900
- School bags- $300
- teaching training for current teacher-$500
- Sportswear- $300
- Stationary- $300
-Textbooks -$200
Please donate today and share this page to spread the word. Together, we can give these children not just an education, but a future. Every gesture, big and small, is greatly appreciated by all the amazing kids and team at Aspire.
