Hello,

We are Hold Fast Bookshop in Leeds and we are working with local social workers to give children a book of their own this festive season.

Reading can be such a comfort and an escape, a distraction or a way to learn - we would like to help children who are in difficult circumstances get a book to help them through. We believe reading should be for everyone and the gift of a book of their own will help children who might not otherwise get one - be that a tiny picture book for the very youngest to a chunky novel for the oldest and everyone in between.

Your donation will be spent on carefully chosen books which will be distributed by social care teams to children in our community who will really benefit from them.
