Hi, I'm Alana Graham, and I'm starting a GoFundMe for Caron Dollar. At 15 years old, her mother passed from cancer, and her father at age 18. Caron worked as a cargo handler and heavy equipment operator as a longshoreman. Caron encountered a back injury and could no longer work; she had to go through two surgeries, and shortly after, her husband passed away in a car accident. Later diagnosed with cancer, she survived 34 medical treatments and is now cancer-free, and her hair has started to grow more! Caron lost her car, job, full mobility of her back, and husband in these past 8 years. She now lives in a shack with her kitten, Boots, asking for help on the curbs of the Portsmouth streets where I found her.

Just recently, she was robbed, losing her Virginia resident ID, money for Boots' cat food, and driver's license. Every morning Caron wakes up, she says, "Thank you." She's asked God, "When will I receive a break? I am so tired," as tears fell from her eyes. I’m asking that you see Caron and hear her cries as I have. Help me help her. Amen.
