As many of you know, this year has brought unexpected challenges for me. I’ve recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and am undergoing tests prior to treatment. While this news was a shock and has been difficult to process, I am determined to face it with strength, hope, and the unwavering support of my family, friends, and community. With faith, positivity and resilience, I’m ready to fight this battle, one step at a time.

This Christmas, instead of sending cards, I’ve decided to give back to the Hope Cancer Support Services that helps so many people and families like ours across County Wexford. I’ve set up a GoFundMe page to help them continue their vital work for people like me and their families.

The Hope Cancer Support Centre provides emotional and practical care for people with cancer and their loved ones, offering a safe space to find strength and guidance during difficult times. Their work touches so many lives in our community, and I would be so grateful if you could join me in supporting them. Any small donation will help have an impact.
