One week ago today I found out about Baby E, today he will come home with me. Baby E was born 2lb 12oz and comes home on 2/12. He spent the first 6 weeks of his life in the NICU without a designated caretaker coming for visits. I have been there everyday since I found out about him. So many folks have been asking what they can do to support both of us and although we can't turn back time, you can do something to support our family.
I have a six week period between when my FMLA expires and the end of the school year. I'd love nothing more than to get those 6 weeks "back" and not have to worry about returning to school this year. Even if it isn't the full 6 weeks, literally every hour counts.
$20 is an hour.
$250 is a day.
$1,000 is a week.
Any amount is helpful.
We have already been blessed with so many "handmedowns" from family, friends and the community that surrounds foster care. There are not many material items we want for and we are lucky for that.
I will continue to provide updates on here for those following our story. Love, prayers and blessings are also a currency we welcome in heaps!
Much love to our people,
Molly & E
