Our friends and colleagues in Townsville have been adversely affected by the recent weather event. Some have even lost their homes, furniture, appliances and precious possessions. Many employees have had shifts cancelled due to the weather and have suffered financially.
It's heart-warming to see that through this hardship, the Townsville team has still shown commitment to the local community by putting together donation packs to give to those in emergency centres.
And now it's our time to take action to help our employees in Townsville!
We are asking you to please donate a tenner for Townsville! If all Open Minds employees outside of Townsville donated $10 each, we will raise $4,000, and with Open Minds pledging to match the amount raised, this could total $8,000!!
Open Minds will match the total amount raised (up to $4,000) on the 22nd of Feb - so please dig deep and donate your tenner.
The funds raised will be donated directly to Open Minds employees who have lost the most during the weather event.
