My beautiful daughter at the young age of 4 years old has been diagnosed with alopecia. She is absolutely Disney Princess obsessed, and loves Rapunzel's long hair! As you can imagine for her at 4 years old her hair is so important to her.
My daughter first started loosing little clumps of hair about 6 weeks ago and recently I noticed patches of hair missing when I was washing her hair in the bath, I took her to the doctor's who confirmed she has alopecia. As you can imagine this broke my heart, my sister is a hair and braid stylist and will no longer be able to get her hair styled ‘like a princess’.
At this stage we do not know how bad it is going to be but her hair is falling out in very visible patches and she has lots of balding spots now and it cannot be covered up.
My daughter is so very upset that she no longer has her Rapunzel hair so I am raising money to buy her a wig.
I also want to raise awareness of infant alopecia.
If you can donate anything we really appreciate it, all funds will go towards to cost of wigs which are around £500 per wig!
Important update:
*** SHELL GIBBS***
will very kindly be raising funds for A by cutting a massive 10 inches of her hair on the 25th October!! What a wonderful gesture for Bugs future wigs
