Give a Meal to Someone in Need This Ramadan
Donation protected
❤️ Update May 12th 2020 ❤️ Starting this campaign I only thought I would have raised a couple hundred dollars at most. However, people’s generosity has restored my hope in how kind people are towards something they could easily turn an eye to.
As the last 10 nights of Ramadan approach and we all seek to experience Laylatul Qadr InshAllah, it is said that the one who donates on this occasion will be equivalent to the one who has given charity over the course of 84 years.
I ask that if anyone even has a dollar to spare to please donate to help provide for the meals of those who will also be fasting in the upcoming days and who do not have the luxuries we do when it comes to their suhoor and iftar. These meals will ensure they can enjoy these nights comfortably and not be worried or hungry. Additionally, some funds will be used for Eid meals which is the most joyous day for Muslims everywhere and by providing a necessity, this day for them could become even more blessed ❤️

Assalaamalaikum everyone,
This year, I have decided to organize a fundraiser for those in need. As we all know, Ramadan is a month of selflessness, charity and kindness and also a time to reflect on our blessings. Unfortunately, some families are not in the position we are and struggle to put a meal on the table for their children and themselves. I understand many of us are struggling ourselves with the current situation going on, but anything you donate will make a difference and won't go unnoticed. However, if you can't donate, please share and repost this wherever you can ❤️
1 in 5 people in Pakistan are experiencing malnourishment and many survive on less than $1 a day. This has gotten increasingly worse due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many cannot feed their families because they are out of work and government programs to assist them are extremely limited. With Ramadan beginning, many of them will struggle to obtain proper suhoor and iftar and often having to resort to eating food scraps.
With the money we raise this month, this will InshAllah go towards providing meals to those less fortunate during this time and blessed month.
If anyone needs a zakat (charity) receipt, please let me know!
“A man is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighbour is hungry.” Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)
“The charity you give will be your shade on the Day of Judgement.” Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)
“Don’t feel ashamed when giving little for charity; that is because there is always goodness in giving no matter how little.” Ali Ibn Abi Talib (RA)
