Help us give our friends at the Giving Table a little Christmas of their own ❤️

This Christmas, we want to do something a little bit special for the people we meet at our Giving Table.

On the Sunday before Christmas, we’re hoping to provide everyone we see with a Christmas rucksack filled with practical essentials, warmth items, toiletries, snacks — and, most importantly, some proper Christmas treats.

We already provide many of the essentials throughout the year, but this appeal is about the things that make the rucksacks feel like Christmas presents rather than another support pack.

Think selection boxes, chocolate Santas, biscuits, savoury snacks, candy canes, Christmas puddings and all those little festive treats that make Christmas feel like Christmas.

We’d also love to include some toiletry gift sets, replacing some of the individual toiletries we usually provide with something that feels a little more special and gift-like. Because practical can still be a treat. ❤️

We’re asking our wonderful supporters to donate items where they can, but we know not everyone is able to get out shopping or has the space to buy and store things. That’s where this fundraiser comes in.

Every donation will help us buy the extra Christmas goodies and essentials we need to make sure we can put together enough rucksacks for everyone we see.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for supermarket bargains over the coming weeks, so your donation will be used where it can make the biggest difference and help us fill any gaps in what has been donated.

You don’t need to donate a huge amount. ❤️

£5 could help us add a few extra festive treats.

£10 could help fill some of the gaps in our Christmas supplies.

£20 could help us put together a little more of the Christmas magic.

And every single donation, no matter the size, will be added to many others to help us create something really special.

Our Giving Table exists to offer food, essentials and a little human kindness to people experiencing homelessness, sleeping rough, housing insecurity or simply having an incredibly difficult time.

At Christmas, we want to give them more than just the things they need.

We want to give them a little Christmas of their own.

Something thoughtful.

Something festive.

Something that feels like a gift.

And something that reminds them that they haven’t been forgotten. ❤️
