This September, I’m flying kids with disabilities at Challenge Air’s KC Fly Day — and for many of them, it’ll be the first time anyone’s put them in the pilot’s seat instead of the passenger seat of life. I heard about this event and it’s something I believe in. Challenge Air puts these kids behind the controls of a real airplane, next to a real pilot, and lets them fly. Not a simulator. Not a ride. They fly. For a kid who’s used to being told what he can’t do, that’s fifteen minutes discovering what he can.

I’m donating my time and flying for free that day. Your donation covers the real costs — fuel and aircraft rental — so every dollar goes straight toward getting another kid in the air. No overhead, no middleman. Just kids, wings, and the chance to feel like they can do anything.
