Hi, We are the Girls BSA Troop 2 in Edison, NJ - which we formed recently in Feb 2019. We started off with 5 girls and now the Troop Program is gaining a lot of popularity in the neighborhood.
We are:
- The only Girls BSA Troop in Edison (compared for 4 Boy Troop in same community)
- The troop that produced the "First Female Eagle Scout" in Raritan Valley District
Lot of girls are interested and joining the Troop, given the rich program & lack of other Girl Troops around.
Given this, Troop 2 is in urgent need for replacing its Trailer and overhauling its Equipment to keep up with the growing attendees & the interest within young girls in the community.
The Troop has a EIN number registered as non-profit & we can give a receipt for the donation made. This can be used towards tax-deductions.
We would request your assistance to help us put together a robust program for these young girls in our community & inculcate good leadership skills and values in them.
