Girls Empowerment Project

Hi lovely people,

my name is Luna and I’m currently working in Ghana as a volunteer for the girls empowerment project.

Here in Ghana it’s not common for girls/women to talk about their feelings, sexuality, problems, and so on.

Together with some lovely people I try provide a safe space for women to talk and learn about:

-boundaries

-contraceptives (anticonceptie)

-body positivity

-skills (sewing, painting, hairdressing,…)

-teen pregnancy

-and so on

The money we raise will be used to buy new materials, organize more seminars, give contraceptive products, send more girls to school and so much more.

We want to break the cycle and give these lovely ladies a voice and a space.
