Girl Scout Gold Award: Sensory Room at Camp Ska-No-Ka-San

Donation protected
As part of earning my Girl Scout Gold Award—the highest achievement in Girl Scouting—I am creating a sensory room at Camp Ska-No-Ka-San to support children with sensory processing needs. My project focuses on providing a calming, inclusive space where campers can feel safe, regulated, and supported.

To bring this vision to life, I am raising funds to purchase essential items for the room, including soft rugs, soothing curtains, sensory-friendly lighting, fidget toys, tactile wall panels, and other comfort-focused tools. These resources will help create a welcoming environment for campers who may become overwhelmed by the noise, activity, or unpredictability of a typical camp day.

Through this project, I hope to make a lasting impact by promoting accessibility, emotional well-being, and inclusion in the camp community.

If you would like to support this meaningful initiative, donations of materials or financial contributions are greatly appreciated!
