**Urgent Support Needed: Help the Giraldo-Gray Family Overcome Adversity and Rebuild in Safety**

In the past three years, life has relentlessly tested the resilience of the Giraldo-Gray family. They have faced unimaginable hardships, from being kidnapped and robbed while working abroad in Colombia to starting anew back in the US in 2021 for a chance at a safer and brighter future. Despite their struggles with PTSD and financial hurdles, they bravely built a life in Oklahoma. But fate struck a cruel blow again during the 2023 holidays, when their home was invaded, robbing them not just of their possessions but also of their newfound sense of security.

Today, I reach out to you with a plea for my sister, Elizabeth, her husband Jorge, and her five courageous children. They desperately need to move to New Hampshire, near our family, to heal and rebuild their lives in a nurturing environment. Elizabeth's words, heartbreakingly honest and raw, convey their ordeal and their need:

"Living with PTSD is a daily battle, not just for us as adults, but watching our children suffer is unbearable. The smallest noise, a flicker of a light at night, sends us into a state of panic. Our children live in terror, and we are trapped in a cycle of fear. We need to leave Oklahoma to find solace and support near our family in New Hampshire, but we lack the financial means to do so.

Isaac, only 10, relives our kidnapping ordeal every day through panic attacks. Sarah, now 12, heroically tried to protect her siblings with her body “pleading not to kill us” during that harrowing time and is now regressing into fear after our recent robbery. Benjamin, 8, lives in constant anxiety after relieving the moment of being pointed at with a gun to his head, compounded by his ADHD and depression. Little Samantha, at 5, prays for understanding, and baby Christopher remains our beacon of hope.

As parents, the torment of seeing our children in distress is indescribable. My husband and I struggle with our own trauma, making it even more challenging to be the pillars of strength our children need. The memory of being tortured and threatened in front of our children haunts me every day. We surrendered everything to those criminals, prioritizing our lives over material possessions.

But now, we face a different battle: securing the well-being and mental health of our family. We must relocate to a safe haven where love and familial support can help us heal and start afresh. The journey to peace is long, and we cannot walk it alone.

This is where we need your help. Your support can turn our dream of safety and stability into a reality. Every contribution brings us closer to a new home, to therapy, and to a life free from the shadows of our past. Together, we can create a world where fear doesn't reign in the hearts of a family that has suffered enough. We need help for the first time in our lives, and it's heartbreaking and embarrassing to openly request for financial support, but we’ve run out of options.

Please, help the Giraldo-Gray family find their path to recovery and peace. Your generosity means more than just financial aid; it's a lifeline for a family in desperate need. Let's stand together and show that in times of adversity, humanity shines brightest."
