Help Gio get back his stolen rent money!

Hi my name is Ursula. Gio is my son’s friend and band mate. You might know him in the music community as the kick ass singer for the band SCAB! But we have come to know him as family.

He’s been living with our family for the last few months as he fell on some hard times and needed a place to stay. His plan was to save up enough money to get a place of his own in time for when he started university. He worked really hard to save up enough money for first and last months rent and it was taken from him in minutes by a scammer!

A place was arranged and he sent $1600 and they disappeared with his money! He was packed and on his way to his new home when the scammer disconnected their contact number and the rental Ad!

A file has been reported to the police but the police can’t get his money back and the bank stated that since it was a willing e transfer, they can’t do anything. He’s supposed to be starting university in a week and needs the money to find a place asap closer to school. So we’re hoping to raise back his lost money to help make his journey a little bit easier and raise his spirits. Any little bit helps.
