Ginny's Bench
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
"Ginny' Virginia Hale, was tragically killed in a traffic accident while crossing the street in a crosswalk last September. She is missed by so many people who's lives she touched on her twice daily walks around town. She talked to people she met along the way and spread inspiration and a positive attitude.
At 98 1/2 years young, she dressed to the 9's with perfect, hair, makeup and jewelry.
A lot of her time was spent sitting on the bench at dock square greeting people and chatting with friends and people who passed by.
A fitting tribute to Ginny would be a bench. It will be located in front of the high school apartments on Broadway in Rockport, Ma.
This project was initiated by George Ramsdson, a friend of Ginnys. The location and research was done by George. The family has stepped in to help with raising funds.. Together we chose the bench. It is similar to the town's benches, but with an arched back.
It is a beautiful bench, in a beautiful place, to celebrate a beautiful lady who brought joy to so many...
