Celebration of Gina Tallarita McGill’s Life
December 10, 1970 – November 11, 2021
It is with a very heavy heart to share with all of Gina’s family and friends of her passing on November 11, 2021. Gina had breast cancer that she beat and was in remission for a few years, but unfortunately the cancer came back and with a strong fight Gina was beat by this horrific disease. Gina leaves behind her loving husband Mike, her three children, Noah (15), April (13), and Summer (9), and step-son Kyle (24). Gina has left behind her large core family including her Mother Margie, her Father Dominic, her sister Lucy, and her two brothers Butch and Danny. She had such a large extended family and many friends.
Gina cared so much for her children and their upbringing that she home schooled them throughout the years and volunteered in many of their activities. She was a Girl Scout leader for her girls and helped her children grow and prosper on their ranch where the live in Murrieta. Gina wanted her children to experience nature in a way that she loved it by creating her own animal farm including chickens, goats, turtles, horses, alpacas, pigs and more. She loved making her farm a learning culture for her children on how to care for animals and be self-reliant.
Gina had a great love and passion for her family and friends. Anyone that met her immediately loved her as her beauty was inside and out. She had a passion for not only taking care of her family and friends but of others outside as well. For years, she opened her home, to take in a lost little boy, with a bad home life, as part of her family. That was who she was. She worked most recently at Murrieta Gardens Senior Living where she was able to be family where patients weren’t allowed to have their own family visit them during these past couple years of the pandemic. Gina took care of these patients as if they were her family and loved them with everything she had. Many of her patients passed due to Covid and lonely hearts. Gina was their angel when they needed a caring and loving soul the most.
God gave Gina gifts of compassion, love, caring for others, a great sense of humor, and to make people feel special.
We know if you knew Gina you loved Gina and we pray over her family and friends as they grieve the loss of their dear Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, and Friend.
We ask Gina’s friends and family to make a donation to cover her funeral and upcoming expenses that her family will be experiencing during this difficult time.
We will forever remember and love you Gina as the lives that you touched were so many. May our Lord cover your family and friends with peace and love knowing that you are no longer in pain and will be all of our guardian angel looking and watching out for us from the most beautiful and peaceful place.
We knew that morning, God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone, part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories, & your love is still our guide.
Though we cannot see you, you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Gina would declare over her life this powerful verse daily.
“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”
