In Memory of Samuel Robert Witney

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Samuel Robert Witney, who left us peacefully on the morning of June 13, 2025, at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, surrounded by love.

Born on August 10, 1979, Sam was a devoted husband to Gina, proud father to Tia and Emma, beloved son of Gary A Witney and the late Penny L Witney (nee Neilly), and a cherished brother to Sara K Witney.

Sam was just 45 year of age. He passed away after a short 12 week battle with cancer. Last Friday life changed forever for Gina, Tia and Emma. A devoted just diagnosed with cancer, and in the blink of an eye, he was gone. Now, a brave mother is left to pick up the pieces and raise her two beautiful daughters, ages 11 and 13, without the love of her life by her side.

This mom has spent the past years nurturing her girls and building a life rooted in love and stability. As a stay-at-home mom who also works part-time at a school, she now faces the unimaginable — grieving her partner, comforting her children, and navigating an uncertain financial future, all at once.

She did not plan for this. No one ever does.
