Aloha Everyone,

My name is Nanea Nobrega and you all must know some way, some how, my DAD Gilbert Nobrega. Yesterday, On January 8, 2022 we were riding dirtbike up Kalepa Ridge, my dad caught a stroke on the left side of his body. My boyfriend Paul Correa and our good friend Destin Miguel immediately noticed something was wrong and dehydration was in effect. We sat him down and then shortly laid him flat as we could and I noticed his left side went limp, and I knew a stroke was happening. He was responsive but only to an extent. 911 was called and emergency helicopter came to fly him out. While in the hospital at Wilcox , he asked for me to come in, while we were talking, he then suffered another stroke but on his right side now. He got flown to queens hospital and is currently there being tested for many many things. This story can go on more but I can’t handle even writing this. All we are asking for is the strongest prayers. If you know my dad, you know he’s a fighter! He’s a survivor of cancer and a few broken bones so you know this won’t take him down. If you are willing to donate anything at all to help us with medical bills and flight arrangements, it will be greatly appreciated. We don’t know how long he’ll be in there and how many tests/surgeries he’ll have to undergo, If not, your prayers are all we need and totally understand. My mom Barbra Nobrega and I are holding strong for him because we know he needs it most! We are flying out today to be closer to him as possible!  He is my hero and the one to always lift me higher than anything in this world. He has so many friends and family that love him so much, please keep him in your thoughts and positive prayers. We love each and every one of you. We’re not expecting 15,000 but that’s just a number to throw out, we’re not really sure exactly what we’re dealing with. All the love and aloha is what matters.
