Gigi is donating her hair for cancer!
Since Gigi was 6 years old, she has been growing her hair for a purpose. She will donate it to make a wig for a child who has lost their hair from cancer treatment. She was inspired by some school mates donating their hair. She came home from school one day and told me that's what she wanted to do! She remembered when her Aunt Heather's hair fell out after cancer treatment and she wanted to help. It's been 3 years now and she is finally ready to do it! On May 30th, in front of her whole school, Gigi will cut her hair.
It costs around $2000 to make a wig. So in addition to donating her hair, we would like to raise $2000 to help make a wig for a child who can't afford one. We will be donating these funds to the Canadian Cancer Society. Let's help to make this terrible time a bit easier for a child suffering from cancer.
