gifts from aurora
Donation protected
hi guys! my name is andrew, and most of you know this already, but for those of you that dont know, three years ago on fathers day, my beautiful baby girl, Aurora Grace was born sleeping. there were a lot of problems in her development in the womb. we were told that there was no fluid around her brain, she hadnt developed a bladder. her lungs werent developed fully and her kidneys werent working. she was born without a chance to live her life. she looked so peaceful, she looked so beautiful. and it was the worst thing ive ever had to live through. the worst part is that this could happen to anyone, it doesnt discriminate. it came from nowhere, no sign of it happening, no reason, no apology. nothing. Now, three years on, here i am, in her name im trying to make a difference in other childrens or parents life by raising money to donate a gift in auroras name to a family that maybe struggling in one way or another. I will be donating gifts to the childrens ward at Blackpool Victoria hospital, and hoping to work alongside the forget me not suite based there to provide anything they may need for families going through a similar situation to mine. I know it says there is a target of funds to raise, but please know that ANY donations received will be going towards this cause. whether it be £50 or £5000. i dont expect miracles. there is no time limit on this, but i will be checking regularly and will keep everyone informed of the progress of the fundraiser. being able to do this in Auroras name will mean she can live on, in the spirit of goodwill of others and hopefully, through my experience, i can help someone else understand that although this is the worst thing a parent could ever have to go through, some good can come from it. and that would be simply amazing. so, if this story resonates with you, please help out in anyway you can, whether that is with a donation, or simply by sharing this fundraiser amongst your friends. the more coverage there is the better :-) thank you all for reading this and i hope you have a fantastic day! - Andrew :-)
