Hi there. For those who don’t know me my name is Dominic DeSilvio. Before this holiday season began, I wanted to try something different this year and give back to others. I have never done something like this before but I’m asking for your kind support. For the next few weeks I want to raise funds and give back to a community that a lot of people have no idea about. Located right here in Billerica, Massachusetts, there is a facility called New England Pediatric Care. New England Pediatric care, also known as NEPC, is a long term care facility for highly skilled care for medically fragile children from birth to 22 years old. Affiliated with The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, NEPC has the capabilities of handling a wide range of medical cases from needing more recovery time after a hospital stay to more medically complex cases for children with cognitive delays. They provide skilled nursing, rehabilitation, therapeutic recreation, and special education services for children who are recovering from serious injury or illness. My fiancé Meg has been working at this amazing facility for the past 3.5 years and for that amount of time, she has been filling my heart and ears with such great stories about the children and young adults. During this period of giving I would like to do my part in making their holiday one that they will never forget. 100% of the donations I receive will be given to NEPC. The donations will allow me to go out and get something special for each resident at NEPC, to help put a smile on there face and joy in there hearts this holiday season.
