Christmas gifts for Froude Avenue Community Centre

Hello, everyone!

My name is Aiden Mills, alongside two friends, we are reaching out with a project that’s incredibly close to our hearts. Growing up, we spent many days after school at the Froude Avenue Community Center. For us—and so many other kids in the neighbourhood—it was more than just a place to pass the time. It was a safe, warm environment that provided us with endless support and a sense of belonging. It was a place where friendships were formed, where we could just be kids without any worries. It was a home away from home.

This holiday season, we want to give back to the place that gave us so much. We’ve decided to bring some holiday cheer to the community by organizing a toy and gift fundraiser. Our goal is to make this Christmas a little brighter for the kids who walk through those doors each day, just like we once did. We know firsthand the magic of receiving gifts, and we want to share that feeling with the next generation of kids who look to Froude Avenue as their safe space. The eternal support that the Centre has given us over the years, it only feels right to give back.
