My Dear Friends,
This year for the holidays I am raising money for gifts for children who have parents in prison. Once raised, I will then be delivering the gifts to the children and spending time with them.
The holidays can be a tough time for anyone, let alone a child who is missing his mother or father. A little gift can go a long way. It lets the child know that they're being thought of, shows love and allows for a connection.
More than 5 million U.S. children have had a parent in jail or prison at some point in their lives. The incarceration of a parent can have as much impact on a child’s well-being as abuse or domestic violence.
Your support is so appreciated and I cannot do this alone, and I am grateful for any contribution you can do. So please help me make this holiday amazing for these kiddies!
