Gifting Joy is a not-for-profit organization whose sole purpose is to gift joy to patients staying in Duke University Hospital for a bone marrow transplant. These patients live in the hospital for an average of 3-4 weeks. This holiday season, Gifting Joy will provide all patients with a holiday decor item of their choosing along with 12 Days of Joy.

During the 12 Days of Joy, all patients will receive a daily gift that can help them in that moment (i.e. odorless Burt's Bees lip balms, essential oil room sprays, gift cards to the hospital coffee shop, etc.). Our goal this year is to be able to gift joy to the entire Adult Bone Marrow Transplant unit, which has 17 beds.
