Jenny and Tim are having a baby! I wanted to get them something nice, but I have been admonished that my gift giving instincts are perhaps more 'peculiar' than tasteful, practical or appropriate. I am also familiar with the attendant clutter of an infant human and I do not want to foist any extraneous cutesy crap on our young parents . Better to give them something more immediately useful, like cash! Anyone who works with Jenny knows how attentive and resourceful she is, but we also know that she is not inclined to ask for anything no matter how badly she needs it. So hopefully this "Baby Shower" fund will be a fitting opportunity for us to give our best wishes and affection to Jenny , Tim and baby "TOE"!
