Gift of Life House - Philadelphia

Happy 2024 everyone! As many of you know, organ donation is close to my heart since my mother received a life-saving liver transplant in 1995. My mother passed away 22-years after her transplant in 2016 but our family’s commitment to organ donor awareness continues. This year, it is one of my resolutions to take my volunteerism for organ donation, organ donors and their families to the next level.

In March, my family and I have volunteered to provide dinner to all the families staying at The Gift of Life House in Philadelphia. We will be feeding approximately 20-25 families that evening. All families will have a loved one currently in the hospital receiving a life-saving transplant. After a long day of waiting and worrying these families could use a good home cooked meal.

Any additional funds after the food is purchased will be donated directly to the Gift of Life House.
