Gift of Heaven Project

Cathie and Craig will be walking the length of the Birmingham to Worcester canal (30 miles) on 10th November to raise money for presents for Ukrainian children in the front line areas via the Gift of Heaven project.

The Gift of Heaven Project distributes presents to the children living in the warzone and front line territories of Ukraine. Our friend, Svitlana, who lives near us in Bromsgrove, and her husband who is in Ukraine work for the Christian Mobile Medical Team who provide medical assistance across Ukraine and in the war torn areas. Every year volunteers from the team manage to deliver between 5000 and 7000 Christmas gifts as well as a party to children.

The money will pay for the gifts as well as costs involved in delivering them such as fuel for the minibuses.
