Gift for Santa Claus

4 years ago, Santa was laid off from Apache Mall and the Rochester community rallied around him.  We found him a new home at ABC Toyzone, plane tickets, a rental car, a hotel and everything needed so he could continue to come to Rochester every Christmas (he actually lives in Colorado Springs and needs to travel here every year).   He asked for nothing in return even though he was no longer being paid by the mall.  He did it simply because he loves Rochester, believes in the miracle of Christmas and loves your children.  He is truly is one of the most unselfish and grateful person you’ll ever meet.

This year, I’d like to return the favor to OUR Santa and show him how much he means to us and our community.   If everyone who helped Sava Santa 4 years ago donated $5 we could give him almost $20,000.  I realize that money is tight this time of year so if we could raise even $5,000 I’m sure he’d be very grateful for helping replace the lost “mall income” over the past few years.
