We’re bringing the party to the streets of Giesbach Road, Boothby Road and Grovedale Road on Saturday 30th August.

Our streets are full of fun, creative people — but we don’t always get the chance to connect. This event is about more than just a party — it’s about celebrating the summer together and making our area feel like a real community. We'd like to thank those who have responded thus far and are super excited to join forces in creating a fantastic event for all of the community.

We have secured a £500 grant from the council that facilitates the event to go ahead and covers insurance, license fees and basic equipment. After some great chats with the neighbours, we've got some more ideas to make the day even better.

For those that can, we’re asking for donations to get some live musicians and professional sound equipment down on the day. We’re aiming to raise £300 (which is only 30 people donating a tenner!) to make the day as fun as possible.

For everyone else, bring your neighbours, friends, and food down to Giesbach Open Space from 1pm to 5pm to get involved. We’ll have face painting, live DJs, a clothes swap and some party games to boot!

We'll make it as transparent as possible and will release all details of what we have spent money on during the event on this page.
