Medical Volunteer Trip to Ghana

Greetings all! In one month, I will be traveling to Ghana, Africa for a Medical Volunteer Program. I'll be spending two weeks at the Magro Maternity Clinic assisting with prenatal care, running labs, counseling, and providing vaccinations. This clinic is small, understaffed, and resource-poor.
The funds I raise will go to provide extra financial support for this clinic (80%) and a small stipend to help me with traveling expenses (20%).
This is a rare opportunity for any medical student, but especially in Naturopathic Medicine, where we focus so much on prevention. This will be a chance for me to use the skills I have learned so far, and help with the health of not only one generation, but the next one to come.
Just recently, I was elected to serve as the Public Health Chair of the Naturopathic Medical Student Association (NMSA) and upon my return (with a colleague at school), we will be educating our classmates and professors of our journey, the medicine, and the experience.
