Ghana Health Adventure

My name is Iuliana and I was born to make a difference in this beautiful world! I believe our presence here is not random, we all have a purpose and we can positively touch other people's lives. I have been blessed to know many people, see many wonderful places and experience life to it's extremes. Nothing made me happier than seeing other people's happiness, supporting other's; loving and giving is what I am meant to do! From working for children with AIDS to fighting in revolution, I have tried to do my part. In every single step of my life, my Father has blessed me to meet wonderful people and motivated me to help!

We are now going to Ghana, to support and help Ghanaian people through our health and education programs. Few month ago I felt very moved by one of my work colleagues who told me about their life in Ghana and the lack of healthcare or resources there, so I have decided we need to reach out to this people. We would like to raise money to buy medicines, simple health care equipment, books, pencils for the children and families in Agogo. We are going to run health programs in some of the villages there: Bebome, Magyeda, Boakyi, and others. We are going to support their vaccination programs and teach health subjects to their medical staff in local Hospitals (ex: Presbyterian Hospital Agogo Asante Akyem).

I am planning to raise at least £4000 from which £2800 will go towards medication and healthcare equipment mainly, the rest will go towards shipping of goods( we have organised 4 large containers), travels through different areas, books and school items for children.

On the 8th of September I am going to do a triathlon(swim, cycle and run) to raise this money. With everyone's help and support, but especially God's blessings we would be able to help this cause and the lovely families in Ghana.

I had many opportunities in life, lovely parents and family, food, education, health, a roof above my head, friends to care for me. Please join me to support others who were not not as blessed as myself, because we care together, we love together, we thrive together in this beautiful world.
