Hearts for Hometown Heroes

Donation protected
Dear Friends,

As we are all experiencing these very challenging days keeping our social distance and following the directives, there are those among us who are working on the front lines every day. They are leaving their families and homes in the service of very critical patients and community members, all the while risking their own health and that of their families.

In an effort to show our appreciation for what they are doing, we have started a grass-roots effort to say "Thank You" for their dedication to our Northern Kentucky community. We have created a fund, Hearts For Hometown Heroes, which will provide food, flowers,  and treats to those on the front line. These individuals can range anywhere from ICU hospital workers, fire fighters, policemen, nursing home staff......

Our goal is to drop off foods and treats to various targeted groups throughout the months of April and May. We would like to arrange deliveries at least 3-4 times a week, so your help and participation is greatly needed. The items will be purchased from local vendors and restaurants, thus providing revenue and business for them as well. It is a win-win for everyone. At the end of May we will evaluate and inform you of the progress and next steps. As you can see, this is a very aggressive program and timeline.

How can you get involved?

1. We are currently looking for donations to fund our program. A donation of $15, $20, $25, or whatever amount you choose, will be gratefully appreciated.

2. Please forward this email to all in your contact list. Together we can make a huge impact as we show our appreciation for their service.

Although this is not a tax deductible donation, your reward will be the knowledge that your donation is helping those who are serving others feel recognized and appreciated. On behalf of the hundreds of hometown heroes who are working each day in our local community, we say thank you!!!
