Support Elizabeth's Journey to Recovery

Story

With deep emotions, I am writing in regards to my cousin, Elizabeth Fulton. She was severely injured on Saturday, 03/29/2025. Her landlord requested she help with cutting a branch on a tree on the property. Reluctantly, she went with him to help as she believed he knew what he was doing. Then the landlord cut the branch improperly, it fell on the Elizabeth. Elizabeth was life flighted from the home in Norwalk to Cleveland Metro Hospital. She had to have spinal surgery from 4 fractures to the neck, multiple broken parts in her spine, severed lumbar region, broken ribs and a punctured lung. The doctors are predicting she will be paralyzed from her waist down. They are not confident that she will ever be able to walk again. Elizabeth has a rough road ahead of her for recovery. We foresee home modifications, adaptive equipment at the home, a modified vehicle, loss of wages, etc. Elizabeth has always been the one to lend a helping hand to others. She loves her family deeply. She is a devoted wife, dog mom, daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, aunt, friend. She has always been humble and kind. I cannot imagine such a light, pure soul has to endure what is to come.
