Hi, I'm Joana.

I was born and raised in the Philippines, and now I’m grateful to call Canada my home. As my birthday approaches this year, I find myself reflecting on the blessings in my life—and how I can use them to make a difference.

Instead of gifts, I’m hoping to give something far more meaningful: hope.

This year, I’m dedicating my birthday to support a cause that is deeply close to my heart—helping children in the Philippines who are victims of sexual abuse and exploitation.

These young lives have been forever altered by unthinkable trauma. No child should ever have to endure such pain, and yet many do, often in silence.
