Porty Scouts get muddy for the food bank
Donation protected
Hello,
We are 1st Portlethen Scouts (aged 10½ - 14)
Last year we donated to Portlethen Community Larder from our Group funds. We spent an evening in Asda shopping in our patrols to fill baskets of essential and some luxury items for the cause. We also learnt all about the Larder and why it was so important to our community. We LOVED doing it and we want to do it again, but this time we've set the bar higher.
This year we're working on our Fundraising badge to help us raise as much money as we can to once again donate to a worthy cause.
For this challenge we're going bigger and hoping to shop for CFine. Based in Aberdeen they provide help for disadvantaged individuals, families and communities throughout North East Scotland.
We need to raise funds to shop, so we are asking for you to sponsor us to take part in Really Muddy Aberdeen. The Mud race is taking place at Castle Fraser on 18th May. We are running the 3km kids race to allow all of us to take part. Leaders are running too!
Please support us to support our community.
Yours in Scouting,
