Getting Jarret a car

If you could help us get my brother a car, you would be helping us change a life. My older brother, who is 21, has always had to work harder for anything he ever wanted in life. His passion to be the best person he can be has always been so motivating. But, with his autism, it’s makes it harder for him to achieve the small goals that any other person can achieve easily.

Anyone who knows our family knows it’s been a hard path to get jarret where he is now, but he’s accomplished it all. He’s very motivated when it comes to working to get to the places he wants to be in life. Our mother has gone above and beyond our entire life trying to help us achieve anything we dreamed off and it breaks my heart she isn’t able to do this for my brother.

Currently, he’s living in Virginia with our grandfather. Jarret strives to be as independent as possible but is struggling to get a car, as there’s not a lot of job opportunities on the island. If we can help him get a car, we can help him find a better job just off the island so one day he’ll have a place of his own and have more abilities to help our grandfather as well.

With a car, jarret will be able to come visit his family in PA, and DE without having to wait for one of us to be available to drive to and from Virginia. Find a place of his own, and be able to be like every other ordinary person. His goal is to be able to work at Perdue or Sysco, just 35 minutes from the island - but his little 3 wheeled scooter just can’t make it there. This is the last puzzle piece to helping him become the independent person he strives to be; and anything could help.
