Hi guys! My sweet friends daughter, Briella, has cerebral palsy and she is 100% gastrostomy tube fed. She’s been on a high calorie diet, but her doctors can’t figure out why she’s losing weight. Briella is 2 years old and only weighs 15 pounds! Her mom, Anna, is now having to make all of her food to hopefully add more proteins and fats and get her weight up. Because of Briella’s situation getting more serious, Anna has to stop working and stay home with her full time. Insurance doesn’t pay for the food she has to make for her now, and if Briella can’t gain weight in the next month she’s going to be admitted to the children’s hospital in New Orleans for an unknown amount of time. Their family just needs a break so I’m really hoping we can raise some money to help them out with food expenses and the loss of income due to her needing to be home with her baby.
